塔TǎPagoda
This September, as the wind bells on the pagoda gently ring, Songmont returns to Paris for the third year with Song of Mont, opening this year's story beneath a Tǎ (Pagoda).
Rooted in Shanxi, Songmont's birthplace, the pagoda has long stood across mountain ridges and open plains, with layered eaves drawing the gaze upward. Songmont reimagines this familiar form through a wooden frame and translucent paper, creating a contemporary structure floating above the exhibition space.
书箧ShūqièTrunks
Around the pagoda, wooden travel trunks(Shūqiè) hold traces of the journey — stories, craftsmanship, and inspirations gathered along the way. Through hand-carved woodblocks and tactile textures, they reveal the connection between tradition and creation.

Before arriving in Paris, the pagoda first takes shape as a paper invitation. Folded into a miniature structure, it carries the spirit of Song of Mont and invites guests to begin the journey before stepping into the exhibition.
