The design of the Drippy Roof Bags draws inspiration from the roof and eaves of the ancient Nanchan Temple (The Southern-facing Temple of Zen) in Shanxi—the oldest surviving wooden structure in China since 782. The sides of the bag take cues from the curves of portable coffee filters. In this way, the Drippy Roof becomes a fusion of ancient craftsmanship and contemporary culture. The temple's mortise-and-tenon structure, a timeless woodlock technique that has endured for over a millennium, continues to inspire our craftsmanship.
