Restraint in Design
Songmont explores the colors of time through ancient architecture, rammed earth, frescoes, and weathered rocks. Each element reflects time's passage, like a long-lost friend or aged vinegar. We immerse ourselves in these timeless relics, uncovering and carrying their hues.
The design of Drippy Roof Bags draws inspiration from the ancient Nanchan Temple in Shanxi, the oldest surviving wooden structure in China. The temple's grand and rustic exterior, with its sweeping eaves exuding a poetic simplicity, inspired us to distill its essence into a modern and minimalist bag design. The colors are also derived from the time-worn textures of ancient architecture, featuring hues like rubble gray and sage green, reflecting the enduring charm of historical structures.
Adhering to the principle of "restrained design," Songmont conveys a consistent brand perception through a simple yet impactful visual approach. By integrating sustainable responsibility with the aesthetic logic of "nature and self-awareness," we capture the enduring poetic essence of pine landscapes.
