Songmont treats hardware as enduring works of art, pursuing jewelry-grade craftsmanship and design. For a bag, hardware serves dual purposes of decoration and utility. Convenience and security, agility and embellishment — the vitality of a bag often shines through its hardware.

Songmont's hardware is crafted from stainless steel using a vacuum-electroplated manufacturing process, achieving a plating rate of 98.8%. This method is more eco-friendly, particularly in terms of water conservation. The hardness and abrasion resistance of our hardware are approximately 25 times greater than that of water-plated hardware, making it less prone to oxidation and discoloration. Additionally, the specially antiqued surface creates a uniform worn texture that resists fingerprints and scratches, ensuring lasting durability and aesthetic appeal.

For the design of hardware, we insist on finding inspiration from the aesthetics of the Loess Plateau. This has led to the creation of the Yellow River-like meandering lock, the removable mortise and tenon structure, and the buckle reminiscent of the book clasps of book satchels.......We also add the brand logo and natural elements into the design. Tiny details within small space enrich the aesthetics and functionality of the hardware.
