Michelle & Charlie: Lost and Found in Nepal

Wandering from the Heart to Seek True Self

Wandering is not just stepping away from a place. It's a deliberate choice to confront life's limitations.

Wandering from the heart involves venturing into the vast world, then turning inward to listen to one's inner voice and speak to the world anew.

This spirit of heart-wandering is the new mindset we hope every young person, trapped in the present, can adopt.

Both Here and There

Michelle, a self-taught multicultural visual artist, born of two continents, has long felt she belongs neither here nor there. As she grew up, Michelle realized that home isn't the only place where we shape our identity or find meaning. Through her travels, she came to see that it's the people she met and the experiences she had that truly shaped her sense of self and guided her journey.

She is now dedicated to exploring what it means for a woman to truly belong in a place. She has created an open, relaxed environment where women can express themselves freely, share their perspectives, and rediscover their confidence.

From Ireland to Nepal

Charlie Baba is a hippie. His wife noticed that Nepal was suffering from a growing brain drain—too many talented people were leaving the country. She believed that if everyone with potential chose to leave, fewer would feel encouraged to stay. So, she made a deliberate decision to remain in Nepal and contribute to its betterment. Inspired by her resolve, Charlie chose to follow her lead. He opened schools in the forest and established organic farms. Together, they help the Nepalese people embrace and preserve their natural heritage.

These wanderers, resilient and free, don't cling to family or homeland for belonging. Instead, they seek havens for their wandering hearts, discovering their true selves along the way.
