Leather Maintenance

Proper maintenance is essential to maintain the beauty and durability of your product, and each type of leather has its own unique care needs. Here are some of our care guidelines to help you preserve the quality and appearance of your bag.

O1. Cowhide Leather Maintenance

  • Avoid contact with water, perfume, alcohol, etc. In case of contact with liquids, dab immediately with a dry, light-colored, soft cloth.

  • Avoid contact with greasy substances such as cosmetics. If stained with oily dirt, use our leather care balm with a dry sponge or light-colored soft cloth and wipe gently.

  • If there is dirt hidden in the grain of the leather, use a very soft toothbrush with leather care balm to gently clean it in circular motions, and then wipe off the excess.

  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct light, heat or humidity.

  • Avoid contact with rough surfaces.

  • Be aware of potential color fading and transfer from the leather: Use caution when pairing light-colored products with dark clothing, and vice versa, as dyes may transfer between objects.

  • When the bag is not used for a long time, store it upright in the dust bag. We recommend padding your bag with tissue paper to maintain its shape.

O2. Suede Leather Maintenance

  • Avoid contact with oil and water.

  • In case of dirt or water stains, use a special suede brush or a dry sponge to brush along the direction of the nap to clean.

  • Try not to use the suede bag when wearing light-colored clothes (especially cotton clothes) to avoid dyeing.

  • When the bag is not used for a long time, please store it in the dust bag.

O3. Vegetable-Tanned Leather Maintenance

If scratches appear on the leather

  • Rub them with the oils and sweat from the palm of your hand. Over time, the scratches will gradually fade and blend in with the color of the bag.

  • Use a clean cotton cloth or soft sponge with a small amount of leather care balm and rub the scratches in circular motions to help restore the leather's appearance.

If the leather gets wet spots on it

  • Don't worry—simply allow the leather to air dry. The moisture will evaporate, and the leather will return to its original color in a short time.

O4. Vegan Leather Maintenance

  • Avoid contact with oil and water.

  • In case of dirt or water stains, use water or ph-neutral leather care balm to rub gently in circular motions.

  • Try not to use the vegan bag when wearing light-colored clothes (especially cotton clothes) to avoid dyeing.

  • When the bag is not used for a long time, please store it in the dust bag.

O5. Canvas & Denim Maintenance

  • The canvas exterior is covered with TPU coating, a medical-grade material known for its durability, dirt, water and oil resistance, environmental friendliness, recyclability, and excellent elasticity. If the bag becomes stained, wipe the stain gently with a wet tissue to maintain its original appearance.

  • Dry cleaning is recommended for canvas. Our canvas fabric naturally features brown spots, contributing to its resistance to dirt, so the dry cleaning does not need to be too frequent.

  • Denim fabric is durable and resistant to dirt, and the fewer washes it undergoes, the better its color will be preserved.

  • When the bag is not used for a long time, please store it in the dust bag.
