At Songmont, sustainability is not limited to the making of our bags — it extends to every detail that surrounds them. Guided by our philosophy of warmth, simplicity, and kindness toward the earth, we believe that even the smallest element, like packaging, should embody our respect for nature.

To honor this belief, Songmont has reimagined its packaging through a lens of sustainability and responsibility. Our boxes are made from recycled pulp and remain in their natural, uncoated state, reducing the use of bleaching and synthetic dyes. The printing is done using soy-based inks, a biodegradable and renewable alternative to traditional petroleum inks, certified by the American Soybean Ink Association.

Each dust bag is crafted from eco-friendly linen, chosen for its natural strength, breathability, and environmental benefits. Linen is inherently sustainable — requiring minimal water and soil nutrients, acting as a natural herbicide, and fully biodegradable at the end of its life cycle. By replacing plastic dust bags with linen ones, we reduce non-degradable waste while offering a tactile expression of Songmont’s quiet elegance.

Our packaging materials are officially certified by RESY, FSC, and Soy Ink, reflecting our continuous pursuit of authenticity and accountability.
